Anitya अनित्य (Sanskrit for impermanence) has long been of interest to the artist, Imogen Rolfe, and over the last year, as we were all thrust out of our comfort zones into the new normal, the concept became ever more relevant.

Nature is the ultimate guide when it comes to impermanence. Seasons come and go, life and death are perpetual in nature as it is constantly evolving and adapting. 

These works are a reminder of our ability to change and adapt to our environments and to look outside ourselves for the answers we seek. We humans, just like plants, are forever changing.
